The Bloguin panel just released it’s latest NBA Power Rankings. The panel, in it’s finite wisdom, agreed that the Knicks, after a rocky start and despite a 50 point drubbing by the Mavericks, were getting better. The Knicks moved up to spots to capture bragging rights to being the 22d strongest team in the league. This compares favorably to ESPN’s Mark Stein’s power rankings which have the Knicks at the 23rd spot. John Hollinger’s Daily Rankings also has our heroes at the 22d spot.
I think the panel got the first seven teams right, if not necessarily in the proper order: 1. Cavaliers; 2. Lakers; 3. Nuggets; 4. Celtics; 5. Mavericks; 6. Hawks and 7. Magic. To read more, click on the BlogPoll pic above.
