Danilo Releases Autobiography In Italian Only

Danilo Gallinari's Autobiography
Danilo is enjoying being back home in Italy and he is starting to get his international marketing swerve on.  As his game grows, so does his popularity and desire to share who he is with his fans.  As reported in the New York Times, Gallinari released and was hawking his new autobiography, “Da Zero a Otto” (From Zero to Eight), yesterday along with his new shoes by Reebok.  Thus far, the story of Danilo’s 22 years on earth, co-authored by basketball broadcaster Flavio Tranquillo, is in Italian only. One of the more interesting revelations noted by the Times is that Danilo’s back was injured before his run in with Tractor Traylor and after he was drafted by the Knicks.  He made it clear that he was not drafted as damaged goods.
There are no immediate plans to translate the book into English, however if  Gallinari’s game and popularity grow as many project, his book will be adorning a Barnes and Noble and Amazon near you.  For those of you who can’t wait and want a taste of the book in English,  you can find an excerpt regarding his hilarious but accurate impressions of American football  here at Ball Don’t Lie.
