Knicks Two-A-Days Start on Saturday

Most of the Knicks are in the New York area, including Russian Timofey Mosgov, according to the New York Post, in anticipation of the beginning of pre-training camp camp in Westchester on Saturday.   The players are all expected to check in on Friday, although the press is already criticizing Curry for not coming early before the voluntary workouts.

Still whether Curry shows up late or before the official check-in on Friday may be irrelevant as D’Antoni is expected to give most of the minutes at center to a combo-rotation of Rony Turiaf, Amar’e Stoudemire and anthony Randolph.

In other developments, the Nuggets are unofficially officially shopping Carmelo Anthony, but the Knicks are not in the running because they are not in a position to negotiate their first round trade picks at this time.  Ironically, the Houston Rockets, which has the Knicks 2012 first round pick and the right to switch their 2011 pick with the Knicks, if the Knicks have a better pick, is in the hunt for Anthony along with the Nets.
