Knicks Spank Grizzlies 120-99 In Shower Of Tres (Video)

A little commentary is worthy here, as the Knicks responded to fan calls and player complaints regarding the absence of defense, by defending with vigor and dropping a record tying number of tre-bombs in a rout.  The Grizzlies, a fairly dedicated defensive group, had no answer for the Knicks 20 bombs from the perimeter, nine of which were dropped by Toney Douglas.   Once again the Knicks’ defensive presence was led by Jared Jeffries who also showed slightly more comfort on the offensive end as he got back into the swing of playing more than two minutes of basketball per game.  The defensive-offensive combination was insurmountable for the Grizz — the Knicks were about as good a perimeter team as any NBA team could be last night.
