The Knicks are not so firmly planted in the playoff race. Currently, with 11 games remaining, they hold the seventh spot 6 1/2 games away from surrendering their playoff position to either the Indiana Pacers or Bobcats. Of the 11 remaining games, the easiest may be the Toronto Raptors. The game against the Cavaliers on April 3rd should be the easiest, but the Lebron-less Cavs have been our most difficult nemesis all season. They’ve won all three contests against us thus far. The final two games of the season against the Bulls and Celtics, respectively, may be important to both teams although they are settled in the playoffs because they are battling closely for positioning. Unless, the Knicks begin to pull together, this could be one of the most memorable collapses by a Knicks team in years. Are we going to make the Playoffs?
