WITH THE 17TH PICK OF THE NBA’S 2011 DRAFT THE NEW YORK KNICKS SELECT….

The Heat closed the season 48-9 after their Nov. 27 loss in Dallas.

When the Heat easily dispatch a scrappy Dallas team, it will only signal to the Knick front office that unless they want a Jordan type block on a chip, they have to get a PG & Center fast! There are many options for signing a SG from Europe or FA. Those choices include Rip Hamilton if he’s waived from a Cav trade and Morris Almond can easily be invited to camp ..AGAIN. While the Knicks have been quiet about the draft ( with Walsh saying he liked Keith Faried) the Knicks have a very attractive combo of Landry Fields and this years # 17 as an offer to trade for ONE of their needs. Keep in mind the Knicks have to make a pick at 17 as a technicality and then can trade that player. What is your opinion? Who do we target? Do we give up Landry and #17 as Rumored? What would you do?
